NLS (Arabic and English)

I' m trying to build a database that will hopefully store snd retrieve data in both english and arabic.
The database is Oracle version 9i will be installed on Redhat 7.x. As today is planned the database.

1. What language/charset do I choose for the OS installation to support english and Arabic that can be compatible with Oracle database charset to support both english and arabic
How about UNICODE like UTF-8 ?

2. What Character set do I choose for Oracle that manage both English and Arabic.

Hi Hassan,
When you install oracle, as much as I remember you should choose a language for installation besides you have nls environment vairables like you have pointed. Do you know what language to choose when installing Oracle.

1.U can choose both English and Arabic.

Hi Mr. Akhadar,
My question is when installing Ora9i on RedHat9, You have to use nls environment variable.
Is the AMERICAN_AMERICA.AR8MSWIN1256 pointed by Hassan and you should be in the environment setting ? And what language should I choose from installtion interface ?
