    Maachan -
I think you and I are trying to get the same approach through to ocpdude.

    Ocpdude -
"...remember that I need to create one table to contain the 4 views(travel_amt,voucher_amt,payr_amt,rec_amt)..."

If you need to create a table to hold the data, you just create the table with the structure you need to hold the data - the trick is to populate the table. Also, tables do not contain views; I assume you meant "populate".

"...and remember that when inserting records in this table they have to be in ORDER BY job..."_no
As stated previously, if you are using Oracle, YOU CANNOT ASSUME DATA IS STORED IN ANY PARTICULAR ORDER. You use the ORDER BY to extract the data. If you are populating a view with the table and need to have the data sorted, you can use the approach outlined by myself and Maachan.

I would like to thank you all for the help..but, it is not that simple. May be I am not explaining the problem in a good way. Anyway, I've got pretty good hints from you all.

    thanks again.
