    Quick question:

Am I correct in thinking that the directory for "orant" in WindowsNT is called "Oracle" in Windows2000?

Are any of you using win2000?
    Thanks,
    Rara.

I installed it at home the other day (sorry running Solaris at work) - I think you're correct - it did choose a standard directory of oracle.

It's not because Win2000, is because the Oracle version.
Oracle 7,8.0 use ORANT as the default.
Oracle 8.1.5,8.1.6,8.1.7 uses Oracle\Ora81 as the default.
In Windows 2000 the versions supported are 8.1.6 and 8.1.7 only.

Thanks...I was thinking that same install for NT and 2000 is the same...so, the structures should be the same. Duh.
    Thanks.
    Thanks,
    Rara.
