    alternatively i think u can go to /usr/lib and pick any files with *.o like 'libsunmath.so' and perform a :

    #file libsunmath.so

    and it should return something like:

    libsunmath.so: ELF 32-bit MSB dynamic lib SPARC Version 1, dynamically linked, not stripped


    ...it'll show '32-bit'...blah blah...
