Interest in a Data Warehousing forum?

Does anyone think that there is sufficient interest in Oracle data warehousing for it to have it's own forum, like "Oracle Applications" does?

Not that I have my own agenda, or anything ... http://www.databasejournal.com/featu...le.php/3098791

Is that a big market? Could it include dba's who don't support PS, and also don't want to?

I've chosen for option 1. I think it's a good idea but I'm more in favour of some kind of a competence forum where people throw in ideas/quizzes/scenario's/cases. Something you can make with authorware and host it. That will make things more interesting.

I'll be going for a couple of DWH(mssql tho..) courses and am currently playing with it.

Good Idea But, might confuse people who will posting questions in the forum. In general questions will be on Partitioning, Export/Import, SLQ*Loader, Materialize views etc which is already part of DBAdmin forum.

Ex: People Right now think its for general application questions and post in Oracle Applications forum which is meant for ERP.

I think we have to be carefull to avoid sub-catagorying ourselves to death. Again, this fits under the "Keep it Simple Stupid" rule.
Too many choices will get this (and any website) too "Obfuscated".

    Know what I mean?
Screw this poloitcial correctness, are you an Oracle DBA or are you not? I ask myself this question every day.
