    Urgent!!! Materialized view in 9i

    Dear all,
I have created a materialized view in oracle 9.0.1.1.0, which the master table is in oracle 7.3.4. And there are other materialized view created from this materialized view in other database. Then I add a field in th master table and want to re-create the materialized view. However, after I have dropped the materialized view and re-create it, error "end of file communcation" occurs. And the following is the trace file details:

    try upgrading to 9.2.0.4 .
There was a bug fixed in first release of 9.2 - Dump on CREATE SNAPSHOT/MVIEW with ROWID for remote table.
It is better to ask and appear ignorant, than to remain silent and remain ignorant.
