    Hotbackup - doubt

During the hotbackup, the datafile header is freezed and the full transaction information is written to the redo log files. Once the backup is over, how will the datafile sync will happen for all the transaction that happened during the backup ?

During a hot backup it is only the data file header that is frozen -- Oracle still writes transactions to the data file.
