    Problem with 9iAS infrastructure

    Hi,

I've just installed and patched Oracle 9iAS infrastructure on Solaris (2.8). When I start opmn, I get the following message every 2 seconds in /db001/app/oracle/product/9iASR2_IFS/opmn/logs:

    03/10/23 15:50:41 create_proc: Could not exec process $ORACLE_HOME/dcm/bin/dcmctl

The server then hangs when I try to start the instance with:

    $ORACLE_HOME/dcm/bin/dcmctl start -i $INSTANCE -ct oc4j -co OC4J_DAS

Does anyone have any ideas - before I have to trash it all and reinstall?

    Thanks

Could it be a problem of permissions?

Sorry, just worked out what it was. Patch 2703110 requires a change to opmn.xml - the ORACLE_HOME must be hard coded (not env vars) or it won't work.

    Thanks anyway. ...
