oracle 9iR2 Installation on Win2000 Problem
Hi,
I have windows 2000 os. I have installed 8i on c: drive. 9.0.1 on f: drive. I would like to install 9iR2 on g: drive.
I have stopped all oracle services on pc. I tried to install 9iR2 and I got problem as follows:
*** ERROR : There was problem in accesing the staging area. please make sure the specific value for source and destination are valid.
source : it's the disk1 on g:drive . products.jre no change
Destination:
ORACLE HOME NAME: ORA92
PATH : G:\ORACLE\ORA92
I want to install on g: drive so I have created folder g:\oracle\ora92
during installtion , I am selecting g:\oracle\ora92 with brower and oracle home name as ora92
during this time , I am getting above error.
I tried to install in other drives. I tried different ways but still it's the same error. Am I missing something?
Or is it possible to upgrade 9.01 to 9.2? if yes then where will I get patch(metalink) and what is the name of patch?
Thank you very much in advance.

Thanks for reply.
Well, I have three disk on drive g:
disk1
disk2
disk3
under disk1 is having setup.exe
when u run this setup . it gives the source by defualt. we don't have to modify as it is the source for product.
only we can change is the destination of oracle home. I tried it different way's. May be I have to uninstall 9.0.1 then install 9.2 but I am not getting uninstall option as it get's hang, I mean keeps in busy mode of mouse pointer.
I would appreciate any help.
