Error in DBCA -> ORA-27059

I encountered ORA-27059: skgfrsz: could not reduce file size while creating new database using DBCA. I couldn't get any help from Metalink website as the below is shown:

Error: ORA-27059
Text: skgfrsz: could not reduce file size
-----------------------------------------------
Cause: ftruncate system call returned error
Action: check errno

Where to check error no? What is the workaround? What is the actual problem causing it?

DB version: 9.0.1
OS: Sun Solaris 8

The error means that there is not enought space where you are trying to create the datafile...

Change the path of the datafile to some other location where you have write permission and ample of space. You can modify the path in DBCA or DBASSIST wizard.
