setting db_file_multiblock_read_count to a high value

    Hi,

I have set the db_file_multiblock_read_count to 64 in my INIT.ora.

Will this have any effect in causing queries to go in for full table scan although respective indexes are present.

    Thanks
    Suvashish

oracle will tend to favour full table scan when it does internal cost calculations
