    No Bind Variable In Trace

    i use the following statement
    ALTER SESSION SET EVENTS '10046 TRACE NAME CONTEXT FOREVER, LEVEL 12';

    since my application is on forms, i do the following to trace my session

    create or replace trigger logon_trigger
    after logon on database
    begin
    if ( user = 'MY_USER' ) then
    execute immediate
    'ALTER SESSION SET EVENTS ''10046 TRACE NAME CONTEXT FOREVER, LEVEL 12''';
    end if;
    end;
    /

    I tkprof my session and i cant see values of my binds variable, any idea why?

    UPDATE GCO_ITEM SET TYPE_COMM=:b1
    WHERE
    NO_ITEM = :b2

    even if i issue a alter session in sqlplus and i make select statement, i do not see the bind variable in once i tkprof it.

    Search on the "value" in trace file. or if u r using 9i take a look in v$sql_bind_data
