Does anybody know if there is a NOLOGGING
option for Oracle 7.3.4 as in Oracle 8?

I am running a delete dup query on 100,000 records and it's takes about 3 hours as it stands now.

I ran this same query with the same data on a computer
that has the same specifications and it took
    about 20 minutes.

    thanks,
    scotta

There were some "unrecoverable" operations in 7.3.4, but they were much more limited. Try looking for that phrase. I think the operations using unrecoverable were much more reduced--and that delete is not included, but check it out.
