    thanks Pando

I did make the change on my sqlnet.ora and log into the database without password, I got different error:

    SQL> connect internal
    ERROR:
    ORA-24314: service handle not initialized

I look into Metalink and below what I found:

From: Oracle, Gina Thunder 01-Feb-02 14:37
Subject: Re : ORA-24314 when in local Administrators group

Are you connected in a Terminal Service session? This error will occur using Terminal Services as bequeath connections are not supported. If this is the case you must connect using a SQL*Net alias.

If you are not in a Terminal Services environment, make sure that the ORACLE_SID is set correctly within the registry. Also make sure the OracleServiceSID is started and running and that your SID name is less than 15 charcaters long and does not include any special characters.

Do you have any other advises???

    Candyman & Mike2000,

Since you both are posting all of your posts from the same IP address all the time, it should be easy for you to exchange your informations from Oracle/Metalink.

Wow - I'm lost, why would someone spoof 2 personas?

Terminal Services is evil, it prevented me from accessing a windows database this week and it ruined an install of Biz Portal.

Interesting thread though as stmontgo seems to be immune to TS grief.
