RMAN on nt and VERITAS storage

Hi Friends,

Has anybody successfully set up RMAN on NT
using the VERITAS STORAGE MANAGER?

Is it complex to set up? Or can you pls give some
tips or procedure?

We implemented the backup strategy by using Veritas software.But it is on Windows 2000 Advanced server as this is the most stable compare to NT.The installation and configuration of backup media is performed by vendor.As a DBA u need to modify the scripts as per your business requirements to implement the backup startegy.

the biggest pain I have experienced is linking the media management layer supplied by veritas to Oracle , once you have done that the rest is pretty much the same as backong up to disk
