Sys Password Not Accepted In Webdb?

    Hi all,

I am currently running 8.1.7.4 on windows 2000 server.

I am trying to install Webdb 2.2. But seem to be stuck on a problem.

I get to the end of the installation and it then asks for my sys password and TNS alias.

I enter both is and it accept my TNS alias but does not accept my password even though I know that it is correct.
I have installed webdb in a different home.

Has anyone come across this problem, if so is there either a work around or a patch for it?

    Thanks

    Eddy

should you not be on 9ias? web db is kinda old school.

nonethess, I do seem to remember that web uses a seperate tns_home and even perhaps a seperate oracle home. Ensure you are using the expected tns_admin settings
