    Rebuilding index

    Hi,
    I am trying to rebuild the indexes,even though i specify Intial =16k and Next = 16k ,pct increase = 0,the value it is showing after rebuiling is intial = 16k and next = 1024k.why it is so.can anyone explain me.

    what kind of tablespace are you creating it in?

    Tablespace is locally managed.

    Extent management automatic or uniform? - extent management is automatic.Is there any way to solve the problem

    You could rebuild it in a uniform-extent tablespace. Alternatively, you could just ignore it -- is there a particular reason why you don't want those extent sizes?
