    Error during export in oracle 9i

    Hi,
    An eror occured during export as sys user with full=y

    Have a look at the server alert log, and any trace files produced, for more details -- there may be more error information there.

    The 601 error is not common, and you would probably do well to open a tar with Oracle for this.

    Also, what version are you on? I saw a mention of a problem with this in 8.1.6.0.0 that was solved by an upgrade to 8.1.6.2.0
