Hi !
i would like to know whether it's possible to install Oracle Server 8.1.5 on the same server more than once but on different file system.
will there be any conflict between the various processes or will there be any other sorts of problem later on.
Thanks

By different file systems, I assume you are running NT and have FAT and NTFS drives on them? Is that right?

Hi Suva,
You should have no problems with installing on multiple Unix filesystems as
long as the ORACLE_HOME variable for each installation is different and points
to the correct home directory.
Be carefull when you start Oracle that the right executbles are being used.
I.E.
Make sure when you log into the O/S the ORACLE_HOME points to the
Home directory that contains the executables you want to use to
Good Luck
Moff.
