    how to relocate datafiles in 9i

    Hi
    How can i relocate datafiles without shuting down instance. I am using oracle 9.2.0.4 database on AIX 5.1.

    I don't think u can rename the datafiles without shutting it down.

    can'y you just take the TS off line move the datafiles and rename them in the data dictionary? unless of course you want to move system or your only rbs TS
