    customizing oracle portal look and feel

    Hi All

    Has anybody got some docs on how to customize the look and feel of oracle portal.

    Hi.

    If you go through the tutorial provided with portal it tells you how to create your own navigation, header and footer pages that can be used for all pages.

    I'd question the value of using portal for anything that didn't resemble portal style applications. If you are talking colours and graphics then fine, follow the examples set in the tutorials. If you want something completely different with regards the way the application works then don't use portal.

    Hi Tim

    I am playing with Oracle Collabration Suite which has portal bundled with it.But need to customise the product hence i was asking the question.

    P.S:are the 10G notes ready ;-) we all used www.oracle-base.com for studying the upgarde paper to 9i :-)

    Hi.

    I'm psyching myself up to start writing the 10g revision notes. I'm going to wait for the production release so at least some of the documentation will be accurate

    I'm also thinking of doing the OCA 9iAS exam. If I do I'll try and do notes for that also.
