DB user back up

Hi DBA's

I am taking my user's back up after closing their transactions everyday evening.Is there any script to take the back up automatically everyday evening.

If it is there, pls help me.

OS - NT4
DB - Oracle 8i

Are u taking backup using export utility ?
Write your export command in batch file
which can be run automatically using nt scheduler
You can set the timing /frequency in the nt scheduler .

Yes i am using the export utility.
Can u give me the steps.

Go to control pannel-->schedule tasks-->Add new task-->in the shecule task wizard go to oracle directory and select the exp.exe and time when u want to schedule it.Once it creats a new task,in the properties modify the command line as per your need.
