    PLS-00213 package STANDARD not accessible

    Hey Gang, I continually get this error message when I logon to sqlplus. When I attempt to verify I get. They are valid. When I attemp to logon to the application I get the same error message. "Stored Procs check failureGeneral SQL error.
    Ora-06553:PLS-00213 package STANDARD not accessible. Any Ideas how to solve. I've run catproc, ultrlp and standard.sql

    try to run catalog.sql and then cataproc.sql

    9i OEM interface, which manages a 8i database.

    Sounds like OEM wierdness. You don't get the problem outside the OEM application, right?

    It happends even logging into sqlplus. Running correction scripts have no affect.

    Do you get it from when connected to the box locally and not using sql*net? Let's remove the networking authentication layer (TNS) from our list of possible suspects.

    From the server:
    sqlplus user/pwd
    as opposed to
    sqlplus user/pwd@tns_db_alias

    Could you provide all the output from the connection please.
