    Unable to start Intelligent Agent.

    Hello all

    Oracle 92 and Sun 5.8

    I installed enterprise edition, and iam trying to start Intelligent agent, using 'lsnrctl dbsnmp_start' command. but this is what the system throws at me.

    $ lsnrctl dbsnmp_start

    Use following commands instead for Intelligent agents:
    agentctl start
    agentctl stop
    agentctl status

    The agent commands have changed at 9i, do as Patel says.

    However, there is a fourth option:

    agnetctl restart

    Or indeed 'agentctl restart'...
