Oracle CPU usage on Windows 2000 Server

    Platform: Windows 2000 Server
    Oracle: 8.1.7.3

I notice after I bounce the DB at 5AM, at 11AM the "CPU Time" column in Windows 2000 Server's Task Manager shows the ORACLE.EXE process has been using 5:21:23 for the "CPU Time". This surprises me because over the 6 hours period, almost 5-1/2 hours of CPU time have been dedicated to the ORACLE.EXE. The DB server is by no means constantly busy and should only have moderate CPU usage.

My question is: since the server has 2 CPUs, is the "CPU Time" the total of all CPU usage, thus on the average, each CPU dedicated about half of 5-1/2 hours to ORACLE.EXE?

    Thanks,

I think that this is the summary CPU time on the 2 CPU's - the System Idle Proccess for example is growing with 2 seconds for every second the system is not loaded on 2 CPU server.
