Can OEM be confgd. only on O9iAS if to be used with 9i or can it be used as how it used to be with Oracle 8 with the database server ? Have not used it that much but would like to !
Not quite sure what your asking here but if it's can 9i OEM be used to monitor Oracle 8 databases the answer is yes. And if you want to install the 9i OEM respository database in an 8 database that is also supported (8.0.6 +)
If you want to make use of the intelligent agents it is best to use version 8.1.6 or above
