Oracle 9i and Win2000 Prof. Server : error with Control Files
I have installed Oracle 9.2 on to a Win2000 Prof. Server.
I have a set of std. scripts that create my database for me.
These scripts have worked on a Win2000 Workstation build.
When I create the database with the Oradim statement, the control files do not get created.
I am using
oradim -new -sid LON9 -intpwd oracle -startmode a -pfile d:\oracle\product\v92\database\LON9\initlon9.ora
The initlon9 is attached, and yes I have checked that the directory structure is correct.
I have also included the log files that were produced.

oradim doesnot create a database it just creates a service, and in the above case started the instance.
You need to give create database command for creating the database.
