backup/recovery for spayial data on oracle 9i

    hi

what is the procedure to back up an oracle database (version 9.2) with spatial data on it - would i also need to make any special considerations because the database is quite large (approx 100 gig)?
is it in any way different from the norm?

also, it would be extremely helpful if anybody can suggest how to generate an ERD (without using designer).

any help - docs/links... - will be greatly appreciated.

    thanks in advance.

Data is data. Normal backup/recovery procedures apply.

Im assuming you are talking about reverse engineering.
There are many reverse engineering tools available. Designer is quite good. You can also look at QDesigner by Quest (maker of TOAD). Im not sure about Rational Rose (should be there).

Search for Reverse Engineering on google.
