    Losing an archived redo log is a serious issue. You must take a full backup immediately.

    To skip your missing archived redo log:
    Code:
    rman catalog your_catalog_string/passwd@catalog target /
    change archivelog all crosscheck;

    You can also use:

    change archivelog all validate;
    One, who thinks that the other one who thinks that know and does not know, does not know either!

    Hi,

    I ask myself: What is the difference between the two rman commands

    change archivelog all chrosscheck;
    change archivelog all validate;

    Thank you for bringing light on it!

    Can't help but wonder what your RMAN manual says.
