Can install 9.2.0.1 on Red Hat Linux 9
Anyone manage to install 9.2.0.1 on Red Hat Linux 9? Does just following the Oracle's Linux installation guide will do the job? Do I need to perform or download something different from the installation guide? Tks.

Did it successfully last week. Installation will pop-up a couple of errors while linking. Follow the procedure in this doc to fix them.

You need to see if the product you are trying to install is certified on the operating system.
Check the metalink site:

Doesn't matter with Linux. The best thing i like about Linux is that you can tweak the OS to install any version Oracle.

Yea... Oracle will keep very tight reigns on the list of "supported" Linux releases, and rightly so. Doesn't mean it won't work, though. Go for it.
