    Unhappy ora-00600

    Hi,

    need your experience to troubleshoot the problem below.

    ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [12333], [0], [3], [8], [], [], [], [
    ]

    how do you all know what to look for when it says internal errors....

    Cindy,
    ORA-600s are oracle internal errors.
    Check the ORA-600 lookup here..

    Check the trace files generated. You will get some hint on what's going on. If you still couldn't fix the problem you will have to call Oracle Support.

    the 12333 argument has almost always proved to be network related. I have never seen a reproducable test case.

    Open a TAR but also check with your network admin
