I'm trying to identify the Data Archiving strategy and procedures to be used to Archive historical data from Data Warehouse, For that reason I need to understand what to look for and in genral some tips and tricks.

Partition by date range, export the old partition, then drop it.

Export partition data as transportable tablespace, so you can plug it in quickly.
