    SQL Query Taking Too long !!

    Hello all..

    Oracle 92/Sun 5.8

    I have 2 queries, that retreive data from the same table.

    1) Query1 : It retreives about 100kb of data.
    2) Query2: It retreives about 1MB of data.

    Query 2 is taing ages to get the data. Its taking almost 10 minutes while query 1 takes about 2 sec.

    any suggestions on what i need to look into ?...

    Ron,

    In order to aid you we need you to post your query you want to tune.
    It would also help to state what columns are already indexed, etc.

    Once you post that I think we can help you a bit.
