    Question Hardware clustering and Oracle

One of our clients wants to use hardware clustering for their database server, which will be running Windows 2000 Advanced Server. We plan to install Oracle 8.1.7.3 Enterprise edition on it.

Is there anything special that needs to be done when installing Oracle in this hardware clustering/Win2k Advanced Server environment?

    Thanks for your inputs.

If u are using cluster before installing Oracle Enterprise Edition u need to install either OFS(oracle Fail server) which is freely available or OPS(oracle parallel server) u need to buy it on top of cluster.Iam using OFS on top of Microsoft Cluster.
