After patch to 8.1.7.4.0 Sql*Plus still shows 8.1.7.0.0

Hi

I had applied patch set 2376472 for HP-UX(64BIT) On Oracle 8.1.7.0 to upgrade 8.1.7.4. It was successful. But when I found sql*plus it is still showing 8.1.7.0.0. I found the patch set not included sql*plus upgrade.

Please guide me how to upgrade sql*plus to 8.1.7.4

You sure you arent looking at sql*plus release 8.1.7.0.0

but connected to 8.1.7.4.0 as the example below shows


SQL*Plus: Release 8.1.7.0.0 - Production on Thu Jun 19 11:15:25 2003

Thanks. You are right. Yes It is upgraded. I did not noticed it. I just tried:

> sqlplus /nolog

SQL*Plus: Release 8.1.7.0.0 - Production on Thu Jun 19 16:43:47 2003
