    Oracle client from the network

    I install Oracle 817 on the app server which located on the network and I let all of the users pointed to this server. The question is if I have a workstation and it's running on XP, is there anything special I have to do ???

    i;m not clear on what you want to do with xp? but oracle server in it? but an app on it? , client software?

    what I mean is that if I have an XP machine and want to use Oracle client off from the network, is there anything bug or compatibility issue ????
