    Heavy load on the server

    Hi All,
We are running with Oracle 9.0.1.4 on RH linux 7.2. From yesterday onwards, Load on the server is just increasing heavily and at a point it reached to 19.95% and 100% of CPU Utilization. When i tried to track the processes running on the server, i could not find any of the SQL statement in TOAD or OEM using that SPID tracked in the TOP Session. Can any one help me please , how to find the machine name/IP address and its SQL text for that session, username, schemaname etc given an SPID. We had to restart the machine for twice. please help me ...

    Thanks in advance
    PNRDBA

If you have OEM, go to database>instance>sessions
    If not, then look here:
