    Locking Problem

    hi all.

    we are facing problem for hangingup database..
    i
    we are using Oracle 8i (8.1.7)/Form6i/Win2K server.


    We are reguraly facing db hanging problem.

    it gives error '

    'Unable to reserve record / keep trying 1/2/3'

    or some time it show working for a long time......

    when start giving error in 1 m/c then 2, 3.... then all the clients give same error.

    where is the problem.??

    try to change the locking mode of your DELAYED in your datablock properties.
