    Monitoring Database Growth

    I want to monitor the growth of my database. Which commands
    should I run ?

    At the moment I'm using this command

    " select sum(bytes)from dba_segments where segment_type in('TABLE','INDEX'); "

    Your comments will be appreciated

    What do you mean by growth of database? If you meant growth of Segments (Table and Index) then you can use.

    Code:
    select segment_name, segment_type, bytes from dba_segments where segment_type in ('TABLE','INDEX');
