sqlException : End of TNS data channel

hi all,

"End of TNS data channel" is getting generated very often in our application server. we are using pramati application server and oracle 9i version 0.1.1. Everything was running smooth till we changed over to oracle 9i from oracle 8i. The trace file only shows
the following errors:

could any one pls mention whats going wrong and how to rectify the error ?

I have had heard from my collegue ( Dunno how far its true )...

That version 9.0.1.x has some ( can say significant number ) bugs...and are fixed in 9.2.0.x...

Well, i dont directly suggest to upgrade to 9.2.x...
