    how to chk which tablespaces has been used as TEMP in oracle 7.3.X ??

    hi guys,

    Will appreciate if anyone could point to me how can I check which tablespace has been used for temporary TS in Oracle 7.3.X ?? As I know in oracle8i there's this DBA_TEMP_FILES but I cannot find this in oracle 7.3.X ??

    anyone can enlighten?

    There are no tempfiles prior to version 8i. Neither there is any default temporary tablespace for database (not user) prior to version 9i.

    To check your temporary tablespace and datafiles in 7.X check DBA_TABLESPACES and DBA_DATA_FILES.
    If you want to check default tablespace for each user, check DBA_USERS.
