changing archive log size..

How to change archive log size ?

Our Database archive log size is 6mb. Now, I would like to change
it to 2mb. How can i do that ? What is the command ?

I can see you dont have a single clue, archived logs are redo logs, to change archove log size you have to change redo log size. Makes sense huh?

Hi

Pando is right. archived log files are only backed up copies of log files. in order to increase the size of the logfile, add a new log file with a larger size and switch the log file to this current log file. perform the same operation for the other logfiles also. then drop the old logfiles.

be careful while doing this operation.
