    OraPWD utility

    Hi,

    I hv problem in connectin Oracle Server manager through connect internal.

    I hv deleted password file and recreated again with orapwd utility, now while connection through svrmgr30 , it gives invalid user/pasword.

    but it is connecting successful through SQL PLus.

    I m using oracle 8.0.4 on Win NT.

    any expert can help me.

    Did you SET ORACLE_SID=XXXX in the DOS-box before executing svrmgr30?

    Check the REMOTE_LOGIN_PASSWORDFILE parameter value in your init.ora file. If setup to NONE - Oracle ignores any password file.

    If EXCLUSIVE, then the password file can be used by only one database and the password file can contain names other than SYS and INTERNAL.
