Exam guide' and STS.
Now a dyas, Exam Cram is available for each paper
which is purely Exam Oriented so you will find these
books are very helpful to exam point of view.

I am preparing for my test intro to pl/sql, can you tell me what book are you using to prepare for the test. I have the exam cram but do you think STS byitself will be enough......did you get the JASON COUCHMANS guide.....???
I have not bought any books till now.But general opinion is that if u want to pass, the exams cram & sts will do.By the by where are u located any where near DC.If u are then we can do combine studies!!!!
I am in houston (texas), I have purcahsed an Exam cram by Michael ault, but the problem is matter in it is very condensed, will definitely need a reference book or a guide.
STS are very expensive.......will buy them next week.
for now planning to get jason couchmans guide.
so what are you reading now ???
I happen to read the customer REVIEW of the Oracle DBA certification book by Jason Couchman, from Oracle Press in one of Book stores web site(BOOKPOOL.COM),.....well.....99%percent of the guys have criticised the Book,i have not read or seen the book
........just to let you guys know
I agree with Tamil, Jason Couchman's book is dry, but consists of good theroies. I'm using Exam Cram Series by Coriolis publication, for Pl-Sql, Administration & Backup & recovery. I believe the perfomance tuning guide is not yet released. The authors being, debbie wong, Paul Colins & Michael Ault.
