    Dead Connection detection

    Hello all..

    Oracle 9.2 on Sun 5.8

    I am trying to use this DCD option in sqlnet.ora file. but the problem is i have 5 databases and by including this parameter in sqlne.ora , this parameter is active for all 5 databases.

    how do i make this parameter active for only 1 database ?.

    Use/set a separate TNS_ADMIN for each instance. Do the necessary changes in .profile of each oracle owner of the respective database.
