    Oh....Don't Drop The Table

    Hello

Dears, I am using Oracle 9i on Windows 2000. When i created the tables the Database was working well. Now i want to drop the table or alter the table, oracle refuses to do this job and throw an error message:

ORA-01041 Internal error hostdef extension does not exist.

and after throwing this error user will be disconnected.

What does this error mean? and whats it solution?

    Thanks
    Namet ullah Kalair

ORA-01041 internal error. hostdef extension doesn't exist
Cause: Pointer to HSTDEF extension in HSTDEF is null.
    Action: Contact Oracle Customer Support.

Now i think u know wat to do.
