Thread: Performance goes down

    Performance goes down

    We are using Oracle database version 8.0.5. when the day progress the performance of the database goes down. After restarting the database the performance is good. Again after some hours the performance of database goes down.

    Can any one help?

    Do your self favour by reading Oracle Performance and Tuning Document.
    Available at otn.oracle.com

    You didn't mentioned where you are facing performance problem.
    At application level or database level or I/O ......??????
