Quick question .

Can I call SQLLDR80 from a batch file over the network ?

I'm trying something like this

X:\ORANT806\BIN\SQLLDR80 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

When I ran it from the same PC it worked fine without "X:\ORANT806\BIN\" , but tried like above & called via DOS Batch file from other PC, its gives me a error message "Message file not found ..."

Dear Arun,

sqlldr is an Oracle utility which cannot be called via network. This utility must be present on the local machine on which you want to work. However, You can load data to any other machine via network using this Local Utility. But You cannot call Utility via network..
