rman backup
I experience one problem in rman backups. Rman inc0 backup failed with the following errror when rman is backing up archive files.
Since the status is 0 the in0 backup is sucess? If I run rman archive backup alone, will it be fine to recover the database from the backup? or Do I need to run inc0 backup again?
Thank you very much in advance.

Either it is due to space problem on the destination directory or u are facing disk error.

I have already contacted Oracle Corporation and suggested to upgrade to 8.1.7.4.0. I feel if anybody faced the same problem, thier solution can be useful for me . that is reason why I posted into this folder. I never feel this is free support from you guys !!!
Thank you very much for your valuable suggestion.

check permissions to the dir you are trying to generate the rman backup to, does the dir exist? this is not an Oracle error per se,Oracle is just being kind enough to tell you the file system is not right, it's an HP issue under the covers, not an oracle issue
I'm stmontgo and I approve of this message
