Oracle 817 / Pentium 4 / Windows XP issues

Hello all...
I will be going ofsite to install ORacle 817 on Pentium 4 on Windows XP Pro.

I know there is a bug in Pentium 4. What about XP ?....

Is there any work around solution ?
